Cambodian trip 4

early in the morning, we had breakfast at Okay 1 Villa Hotel.. 

free breakfast provided by the hotel! we only can order loaf..
there did not provide rice, mee or any others..
the omelette with loaf..taste not bad for me! 

the strawberry jam with loaf.. simple and healthy!

fruits after eating.. banana always appear and served on table during our dining at Cambodia..
it was a healthy breakfast to start up our day.. 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ first of all, we visited to Silk Farm, free shuttle bus service provided, departure from Artisan Angkor..
 we had made our reservation yesterday during our visit at Artisan Angkor for this visiting . 

there is a tour guide lead and explain to us during our visitation..
this is the mulberry leaves to feed the silkworm.. 

after a period, they will remove the silkworm from the plant and placed them in the tray.. every leaves in the tray are dry and fresh to feed to silkworm.. 

next, the silkworm sealed with the yellow cocoon.. for the whole stage from the egg of silkworm to complete cocoon, it will take 25 days.. 

the worker will start to take the treats from the cocoon by put them in a boiling water.. 

they will separate the silk thread with different quality.. 

next, they will use different materials to dye the silk into different colour.. 

these are the example of material used.. 

after dyed! the silk looked more colourful and attractive.. 

lastly, they will used the dyed silk to make different products like handbag, cloth, pillowcase, scarf and so on.. they will sell the product at the Artisan Angkor souvenir shop.. the price is slightly higher than other place, but i think it is worth for the quality! 

after visit, we had our lunch at Golden Butterfly Villa, our previous stayed hotel..
we loved the services very much so we come back again.. the staffs were happy to see us and they welcoming us with cold towel.. the best service ever! even the hotel that we staying now also did not provide such hospitable service! 

they provided us with free drinks and foods! it warm our heart very much!

the Khmer curry, USD3.. 

Khmer BBQ ribs.. Cindy was craving this since last night after she saw people had it at the restaurant..
luckily we did not order last night, bcz the price is more expensive and the ribs looked small..
it cost USD2.75 at the villa, the meats were very juicy and delicious!

after lunch, we went back to our Okay 1 Villa hotel and rest..
Cindy and Ting went to swimming in the evening.. i was prepare to swim as well.. before i get wet in the pool, i saw something inside inside the pool! i not sure what is it.. it looked like death insect body! omg!!!!
then i refused to swim!!!!! 

at night, we dine at the i Viva, a Mexican cafe at Pub-street.. actually we were struggling for so long for our dinner, bcz there were too many choices at the street.. at last, we choose this restaurant bcz they won the Best Mexican Food award!! sound attractive for us!

the environment of the cafe.. it was my first time to had Mexico foods!

our drink.. banana milkshake ordered by Cindy, and my watermelon milkshake, each only cost USD2.. 

my tacos, USD1.50 only! rated 8/10 for it bcz it was abit spicy fir me.. 

Cindy ordered the Mexican Burger.. the burger was very tall! she ate it till very hard! cost around USD4~~ 

BBQ ribs with fried rice.. cost around USD5.. the portion was small, but overall the taste is ok.. 

after dinner, we spent our last night at Trangle BBQ bar and enjoyed the musical by the band.. 

our alcoholic drink.. Cindy and dear had ordered beer for USD1, quite expensive compared to other place, because they charged only USD0.50, cheaper than mineral water! i ordered the rice wine, USD1.50.. it taste quite similar with the tuak wine in Sarawak.. 

at night, we were busy packing because tml fly back in the early of morning.. these were the souvenirs that i had bought in Cambodia. spent around RM850 for the 5 nights whole trip, included flight ticket, 4 nights accommodation in Siem Reap, tuk tuk, tips, entrance fee, shopping, food and etc.. =D
